Hi everyone, hope you are all doing great. I'm using my personal email to manage the shows going forward because it's easier for me to manage backing tracks & other media and I'm able to be more responsive than when using my work email - if you'd prefer to contact me on the work email it is matt.cockbain@cgl.org.uk same as before.

 

I have just confirmed the booking of our next show on Tuesday 29th October from 7-10; all arrangements the same as on previous shows. We are hoping to do a Halloween theme just like last year - thanks to everyone who made a fantastic effort with themed songs and amazing costumes - it's you performers that make the events so special.

 

You are receiving this email because either; you have generously shared your performance with us before - or you have asked to be informed of future events - or maybe even both! In either case we would love for you to be involved in the show. If you haven't performed with us before I should explain that this is not a serious competitive event - it is all about 'having a go' and having some fun on the night. Our great audience will support you generously (whether you are experienced at performing or a nervous first-timer) and I promise you will have a fun time.

 

We will provide the stage, sound system and lights. If you wish to bring your own instrument(s) we are happy to accommodate that. If you need help with backing tracks or anything else I am happy to help as much as I can - please let me know as early as possible. If you have any other questions or queries about performance just ask and I will respond as quickly as possible.

 

We are planning to provide refreshments (as we have done for the previous shows) - this will likely include 'pie & peas' as well as hot and cold beverages.

 

If you have a particular preference for a time slot in the show please contact me as soon as possible - as always I allocate on a first come first served basis to ensure fairness to everyone.
